Mia is learning the viola

Today Mia came to see me bringing her viola and her music. I have recorded her playing “Patricks Reel”. Mia is very busy preparing for her viola exam. She practises every single day for 8 minutes!

Have a listen and leave us a comment below.

  3. Dear Mia,
This piece just shows what can be achieved when you play everyday.
I am learning the guitar myself and really appreciate the commitment needed especially when there are so many other things going on in our lives!

    Well done Mia!

  4. It’s lovely to hear someone doing something that they clearly enjoy. I wish you the very best of luck, although with this much practising you won’t need luck – you will do well anyway!

  5. Dear Mia,

please keep on playing, you’re very talented!
Practice regularly, listen to various music and don’t worry to get creative when you should feel inspired by anything or anyone in your life.

  6. Dear Mia,

Wow! I love this tune and I love how you are making it your own. I particularly enjoyed your steady beat and pulse – I think this would help anyone who would like to dance along to your playing! I come from Ireland where we often dance to tunes like this at parties and celebrations. We play together in big groups with fiddles (violins), flutes and pipes.

Congratulations on all of your hard work this year. It’s not always easy to practice everyday but it is clearly paying off. it is clearly paying off. Keep up the good work!
